Our specific search process is as follows:

Stage 1 – Define Search Criteria & Build Position Profile

  • Interview hiring authority and other stakeholders to develop Position Profile and gain an understanding of company culture and factors for success
  • Sign Search Agreement
  • Create a search plan that is tailored to client’ unique requirements

Stage 2 – Identify Candidates who meet position parameters

  • Deploy research team
  • Identify candidates from database and other sources
  • Build target candidate list
  • Direct sourcing of candidates and develop referrals from targeted candidates
  • Provide regular feed-back and status updates to client

Stage 3 – Candidate Pre-Screen & Qualification

  • Pre-screen calls to identified candidates
  • Qualification of potential candidates
  • Selection of candidates for in-depth interview

Stage 4 – Interview & Assessment

  • In-depth interview of candidates focusing on previous successes, suitability to role as defined by position profile
  • Preliminary reference checks
  • Complete interview assessments and Executive Summary

Stage 5 – Presentation of Candidates to Client

  • Submit short-list of candidates to client containing:
    • Position profile
    • Executive summary
    • Resume
    • Interview assessments
  • Select finalist candidates
  • Make arrangements for client interview(s)

Stage 6 – Client Interview and Selection of Candidate

  • Facilitate candidate interviews with client
  • Interview prep and debrief with both candidate and client
  • Gather feedback and reactions from both candidate and client
  • Compete any testing or assessments required
  • Complete reference checks, background checks and verify credentials as required
  • Present offer package and facilitate negotiations

Stage 7 – Search Conclusion & Transition

  • Resignation counselling and assistance
  • Provide guidance and assistance for transition of successful candidate
  • Feedback to unsuccessful candidates
  • Regular follow-up with successful hire and client, ensuring integration support for post-hire period
  • Continued follow-up on semi-annual basis
